Rumsiskes Open-Air Museum by Kaunas
The Open Air Museum of Lithuania in Rumsiskes is spread over a 175 ha area in a picturesque location near the Kaunas man-made sea and Praviena rivulet.
Among the 140 buildings that the museum houses are farmsteads, villages and town buildings that were constructed 200 years ago and earlier. They give visitors insights into life, construction techniques and equipment used by people during various periods of Lithuanian history.

The museum hosts regular exhibitions of individual folk artists, and hosts concerts of folk groups on weekends and holidays. It has an ancient tavern and a tea room for guests to enjoy.
The length of review excursions is around six km, and the duration around 2 hours. Guided tours are available in Lithuanian, English, Polish, Russian and German.
